Note Editing a Course
The Edit Course screen lets you update the structure, content, and assessments inside an existing course. This is where you can add new learning items, rearrange sections, manage assessments, and remove content you no longer need.
Course Structure Tools
Across the top of the editing area, you’ll find quick-add options:
Add Section – Create a new section to group related pages or assessments.
Add Page – Add a standard content page.
Add SCORM / HTML5 – Upload a SCORM object or HTML5 package as a learning item.
Add Practice Test – Insert a practice assessment for learners.
Add Test – Add a formal graded assessment.
Add Survey – Add a survey for learner feedback.
These items appear instantly inside the course, ready for editing.
Rearranging Course Items
To adjust the order of content:
Select Re-arrange Items to enter drag-and-drop mode.
Move sections, pages, tests, surveys, or SCORM objects into the order you want.
Changes save automatically.
This order determines how the learner sees the course from start to finish.
Managing Individual Items
Each content item (Page, Section, Test, Survey, Practice Test, SCORM/HTML5 object) has its own set of options:
Pages
Edit Page – Update the content inside the page.
Move Page – Change the page’s position within the course.
Duplicate Page – Create a copy of the page.
Preview Page – View the page as a learner.
Delete Page – Remove the page from the course.
Sections
Add Page, Add SCORM / HTML5, Add Topic, or Add Assessment directly inside the section.
Delete Section – Remove the entire section and all content within it.
Practice Tests & Tests
Edit Assessment – When you open an assessment inside the course editor, you’ll land on the Edit Assessment screen. This is where you update the assessment title, settings, pass rate, question behaviour, and the questions themselves.
Assessment Settings
Depending on the assessment type, additional settings may also be available:
Assessment Title – Rename the assessment.
Assessment Pass Rate – Set a custom pass rate or choose Use Course Default.

Question Bank
Do not use a question bank – All questions appear every time.
Present questions in a bank – Show a random selection of questions.
Displays how many questions are in the bank.

Question Order
Present all questions in the order they were created.

Maximum Attempts – Define how many times a learner can attempt the assessment.
- No limit allows unlimited retries.

Action After Fail – Choose what happens when a learner fails the assessment.
Available actions may include:- Block Access
- 1-10days delay
- Assessment Time – Configure time restrictions for the assessment. Enable this option to apply a countdown timer to the assessment.

Assessment Time Required in Minutes – Specify how long learners have to complete the assessment.
Example:3 minutes Click Save once your settings are updated.
Introduction Text & Status
You can edit the introduction that appears before the learner starts the assessment.
You can also enable or disable the entire assessment using the Status toggle.
Adding Questions
You can add new questions type using the following options:
Add True & False Question
Add Multiple Choice Question
Add Short Answer Question
Add Re-order Question
Add File Upload Question

Each new question appears in the Questions Editor.
Questions Editor
This area displays all current questions with key details:
Order – The question number.
Type – True/False, Multiple Choice, Short Answer, etc.
Require Correct Answer – Toggle for mandatory correctness.
Question Attempts – How many tries is the learner allowed
Each question also gives you actions:
Edit Question – Change text, answers, scoring, feedback.
Delete Question – Remove it.
Add Image File to Question – Attach an image.
Add Embed Code to Question – Insert video or interactive content.
Reorder Question – Move it up or down.
Duplicate Assessment – Make a copy.
Delete Assessment – Remove it from the course.
Surveys
Edit Survey – Update survey questions.
Duplicate Survey – Copy the survey.
Delete Survey – Remove the survey from the course.
When you're done with your updates, make sure to click Save to apply the changes.
