Add Course
This page lets you create a brand-new course and set up the key details that learners and managers will see. You’ll be asked to enter general course information, set rules such as the pass rate, assign certificates or categories, and choose which groups should have access.
Course Information
Course Title*
The main name of the course. Learners will see this title in their portal.
Course Summary
A short description (up to 300 characters) that explains what the course covers.
Course Unique Identifier
A custom reference code used for reporting or integrations. This helps you track the course behind the scenes.
Pass Rate
The score a learner must achieve to pass the course. This is set as a percentage.
Search Keyword
Keywords that help users find the course using the platform search.
Assign Certificate
Choose a certificate that will be issued when a learner completes the course.
Assign to Category
Place the course into a category to keep your library organised.
Training Time
Record the estimated learning duration. Set the number of hours and minutes.
Course Status
Choose whether the course is Published (visible to learners) or Unpublished (still in draft).
Notifications
- Send managers an email and a certificate copy when a learner completes this course:
If enabled, the system sends an automatic notification to the learner’s manager after course completion. - Allow users to reset (archive) their result and re-complete the course at any time:
If enabled, learners can clear their previous completion record and retake the course whenever they choose.
Assign to Groups
Assign the course to specific groups so those users can access it. You can make the course mandatory or optional for each group.
Assign as Mandatory
Users in these groups must complete the course.
Assign as Optional
Users in these groups can complete the course, but are not required to.
Use the search bar to quickly find the groups you need.
CPD Category
If your platform has CPD tracking enabled, you’ll see an option to assign a CPD Category to the course.
Choose the category that best fits the learning activity so CPD hours can be recorded accurately for users.
When you're done with your updates, make sure to click Save to apply the changes.
