Add SCORM Course
This page allows you to create a SCORM-based course in your platform. SCORM courses are interactive e-learning packages that track learner progress and completion automatically. You can upload the SCORM file, set course details, assign certificates, and configure which groups can access the course.
Basic Information
Course Title*
Enter the name of the SCORM course. This is what learners will see in their portal.
Course Summary
A short description of the course (up to 300 characters) to explain what the content covers.
Course Unique Identifier
A reference code used for tracking and reporting purposes.
Search Keyword
Keywords to make it easier for learners to find the course in search.
Upload SCORM Object*
Upload the SCORM package (.zip format, up to 1024 MB).
SCORM Version*
Select the version of SCORM used in your package:
SCORM 1.2
SCORM 2004 3rd Edition
Open SCORM in New Window
Check this option if you want the SCORM content to open in a pop-up window when learners access it.
Assign Certificate
Choose a certificate that will be issued when a learner completes the course.
Assign to Category
Place the course into a category to keep your library organised.
Training Time
Record the estimated learning duration. Set the number of hours and minutes.
Course Status
Choose whether the course is Published (visible to learners) or Unpublished (still in draft).
Notifications
Send managers an email and a certificate copy when a learner completes this course
If enabled, the system sends an automatic notification to the learner’s manager after course completion.
Assign to Groups
Assign the course to specific groups so those users can access it. You can make the course mandatory or optional for each group.
Assign as Mandatory
Users in these groups must complete the course.
Assign as Optional
Users in these groups can complete the course, but are not required to.
Use the search bar to quickly find the groups you need.
CPD Category
If your platform has CPD tracking enabled, you’ll see an option to assign a CPD Category to the course.
Choose the category that best fits the learning activity so CPD hours can be recorded accurately for users.
When you're done with your updates, make sure to click Save to apply the changes.
