Registration Settings allow Administrators to control which user types can register through the platform, whether registration forms are publicly accessible, how phone fields are displayed, and the introductory content shown to users during registration.
These are platform-wide settings and should be reviewed alongside the registration forms configured under Forms & Labels → Manage Forms.
Access Registration Settings
To access Registration Settings:
- Go to User Accounts.
- Select More from the top navigation.
- Select Registration settings.
This opens the Registration/Forms section of System Settings.
Registration Forms
The Registration Forms settings determine which types of users can register through the platform.
Registration can be enabled or disabled for:
- Worker (Learner)
- Contractor
- Business
For each applicable user type, additional registration options can also be configured.
Enable Registrations
Use Enable Worker (Learner) Registrations, Enable Contractor Registrations or Enable Business Registrations to determine whether registration is available for that user type.
If registration is disabled, users cannot use that registration process to create an account.
Allow Public Access
Enable Allow public access where the relevant registration form should be accessible to users without first logging into the platform.
If public access is disabled, the form is not available for general public registration. Administrators who are already logged into the platform can still access the form from the frontend.
Enable Approvals
For Contractor and Business registrations, an additional Enable Approvals setting is available.
Enable this option where registrations should be subject to an approval process rather than proceeding without approval.
Registration Forms: Enable registration for different user types and control public access and approval requirements.
Phone Configuration
The Phone Configuration settings control how Phone and Mobile fields are presented to users.
Default Country
Select the Default Country that should initially be applied to phone fields.
This determines the country displayed by default when users enter a telephone number.
Preferred Countries
Use Preferred Countries to nominate countries that should be prioritised within the country selector.
This can be useful for organisations whose users are primarily located within particular countries or regions.
Dial Code
Enable Show dial code for selected country to display the applicable international dialling code with the phone field.
Phone Number Examples
Enable Show examples for selected country to provide users with an example of the expected phone-number format for their selected country.
The Preview allows Administrators to see how the configured phone field will appear.
Phone Configuration: Set the default country and control how country and dialling information appears in Phone and Mobile fields.
Registration Introductions
The Registration Introductions section controls the content displayed to visitors when they are presented with registration options.
Separate content can be configured for:
- Learner Panel Content
- Contractor Panel Content
- Business Panel Content
Use the content editor to add instructions, introductory information or other relevant messaging for each registration type.
For example, Contractor registration content could explain what contractors need to do after creating their account, while Business registration content could explain the purpose of registering a business.
The editor supports formatted content, allowing you to include headings, links, lists, images and other information where appropriate.
Registration Introductions: Configure the information displayed to Learners, Contractors and Businesses during the registration process.
