Managing Admin Dashboard Widgets

Dashboard Widgets allow administrators to customise the information displayed on their Admin Dashboard.

Widgets provide an at-a-glance view of user activity, learning progress and engagement across the PowerHouse platform. Administrators can select the widgets most relevant to their role and the functionality they want to monitor.

Accessing Dashboard Widgets

From the Admin Dashboard, select the green Widgets button in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

The List of Available Widgets window will open.

The List of Available Widgets allows administrators to select the information displayed on their Admin Dashboard.

Adding a Widget

To add a widget to your Admin Dashboard:

  1. Select Widgets from the Admin Dashboard.
  2. Scroll through the List of Available Widgets.
  3. Select the widget you want to add.
  4. The selected widget will be added to your dashboard and remain there until it is removed or the dashboard is reset.

Widgets currently displayed on your dashboard are identified as Already added.

Available Widgets

The widgets available will depend on the products and functionality enabled within your PowerHouse environment.

  • Content Publisher Completions - Shows the number of courses completed compared with the number of courses assigned to your users.
  • Events Manager Attended - Shows the number of events attended compared with recorded no-shows.
  • Document Library Downloaded - Shows the number of documents downloaded by users.
  • Workforce Insights Completions - Shows the number of surveys completed by users.
  • Items Completed - Displays a line chart showing the number of items completed each month. Completed items can include courses, learning programs, surveys and onboarding activities.  This widget provides a quick visual overview of completion activity and trends over time.
  • Leaderboard - Displays the most active users based on completion activity across courses, training plans and surveys.
  • Training Plan Manager Completion - Shows the number of learning programs completed compared with the number assigned to your users.
  • Completions - Shows the number of workflows completed compared with the number assigned to your users.
  • Positive Answers - Provides an overall view of survey responses by showing the average proportion of questions answered positively, neutrally or negatively.
  • Recent Activity - Displays a feed of recent user activity, including course completions, learning program completions, event registrations and document downloads.
  • Active Users - Shows the number of authenticated users who have been active within the platform during the past five minutes.

Resetting the Dashboard

Select Reset to Default at the bottom of the List of Available Widgets window to return your dashboard to its default widget configuration.

Use this option if you have customised your dashboard and want to restore the standard dashboard layout.

Using Your Dashboard

Once added, widgets provide administrators with a convenient snapshot of activity without needing to run individual reports.

Widgets are designed to provide high-level information and indicators. Where more detailed information is required, administrators can access the relevant functionality or use Reports for further analysis.
