Microsoft Entra is a provisioning solution that automates the creation, management, and updating of user access across multiple services. It enhances security by enforcing role-based access control and streamlining user lifecycle management, ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time.
How to configure:
- Ensure you have an active Microsoft Entra / Azure AD account with administrative access.
- In Azure Portal (https://portal.azure.com), register or select the application you want to provision.
- Configure the required Redirect URI (if applicable).
- Copy the following credentials from the app registration:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Tenant ID
- Job ID
- Token Endpoint
- Bulk Upload Endpoint
- In the LMS, map user field provisioning by selecting claim bindings:
- Choose the LMS user field to sync with the corresponding Azure AD attribute.
- Define user types to be provisioned:
- Admin, Learner, Manager, Business, Visitor, Candidate
- Enable provisioning and verify successful logs to confirm users are synced correctly.
- Click Save.
